A recent event unfolded in my life which resulted as follows:

My Confession

When Tyrella called to announce that Cynthia is in town and she wants to get together with us, I was elated!!!

Plans were made, Tyrella would be our host, Leonard would prepare his pasta dish, I was going to prepare my pasta dish and Michael was going to make his delicious brownies, despite the fact he wanted to do his delicious baby back ribs, but I said no that will be too much. So, the grocery list was made, I received a headcount for the gathering, just waiting on what time we would get together.

Meanwhile, I'm bubbling over with excitement!!!

Then, everything came to a screeching halt, as though the conductor of the train had pulled the emergency brakes, the window of opportunity to get together was 1:30 to 4pm.

My bubble was burst, I calculated two and a half hours. Immediately I checked in with the Holy Spirit, I was hurt, offended,  all I heard was that we were being penciled in, a scheduled meeting. I asked the Holy Spirit if I was being selfish and I immediately apologized and asked forgiveness, but I felt a disconnect, whenever there is a disconnect I know to seek further and so I did.

Proverbs 8:34-35 reads: Blessed are those who listen to me, watching daily at my doors, waiting at my doorway. For those who find me find life and receive favor from the Lord.

My Testimony

My testimony: Shortly, thereafter the confession; I felt the spiritual presence of Jesus Christ, his pulsating heartbeat through my right ear, vibrant, letting me know He was there, draw nigh to me and I will draw nigh to you. Even as I laid down that evening I could still feel the pulsating, this was not a first, but one of many!!!

Revelation 3:20 "Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.

Not long ago I received an email from The Elijah LIST titled "It is time for a converging of Martha and Mary."

Divine Revelation Sealed with Love

The Holy Spirit showed me that no servant is above their master, God showed me that many of his children are preaching and teaching His word His precepts and neglecting to spend "intimate time" with Him.

Noteworthy; I was seeking intimate time with both my childhood friends, because it has been a long time since we spent any intimate time together.

John 15:4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.

Bottom line: This is a message that the three of us should minister, the important key factor, intimacy with God, the converging of Martha and Mary, a balance I gather of the two.

The Holy Spirit has given me the o.k.

I love you both dearly and the enemy will never have his way here, never!

Michael and I are looking forward to your visit in May.

Please do forgive me; however God's message takes precedence here. After all He does work in mysterious ways, the Holy Spirit is smiling with me right now.

Tyrella’s Response

Oh my God Linda Thank You for sharing your in depth experience with our Lord and Saviour!  You are correct! He wants his time with his servants. The Holy Spirit revealed to me the more intimate time spent with me intensifies our relationship with the the Holy Trinity and empowers the Holy Spirit to manifest himself within us to do God's Will. As we surrender our hearts and minds to him our spirit becomes more pliable and we are better able to discern God's Will. Amen! Amen!

The Next Day

I text: Good morning my sister's in Christ, I am still reeling from yesterday's breakthrough, I was awakened at 1:30 this morning talking with God the Trinity!!

Tyrella, you unequivocally have the gift of interpretation [a teaching technique that combines factual with stimulating explanatory information]. 

I said to the Holy Spirit, we need to get a search party together to see if she has Jesus Christ over there with her, we are smiling right now.

Paraphrasing the following from a book I read:

I recall reading this book and the author was sharing a time he went to a foreign country to minister at a church, but he could not feel the presence of the Holy Spirit and as he looked out over the audience everyone was in their own engagement of conversation.

So as he stepped out at the podium he had to command the audience attention, meanwhile he conveyed to the audience that God will not show up where He is not welcomed.

He said imagine that I'm a celebrity, I have no doubt that I would have your undivided attention, all this he said after consulting with the Holy Spirit on what to do.

And so, the audience was convicted, the presence of God the Holy Spirit showed up, feeling welcomed and many were saved and healed, as I recollect.

Our God is a jealous God a consuming fire, a fire that is forever cleansing us of our sins and iniquities'.

I love you both dearly and I know this divine revelation is a subject matter for my blog. I will be consulting with the Holy Spirit on how best to deliver it; however, I want to quote your interpretation, Tyrella.

Luke 10:38-42 New International Version (NIV)

At the Home of Martha and Mary

38 As Jesus and his disciples were on their way, he came to a village where a woman named Martha opened her home to him. 39 She had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord’s feet listening to what he said.40 But Martha was distracted by all the preparations that had to be made. She came to him and asked, “Lord, don’t you care that my sister has left me to do the work by myself? Tell her to help me!”

41 “Martha, Martha,” the Lord answered, “you are worried and upset about many things, 42 but few things are needed—or indeed only one.[a]Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her.”
