Quenching the fire of the Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is the omnipresent, omnipotent and omniscient of God the Heavenly Father. Upon the baptism of the Holy Spirit, by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, we gain direct access to God. This is the key to having God walk this earth in us, empowering Him by way of the Holy Spirit, using us as His vessels to do His will here on earth.

We have to avail ourselves to God by means of submitting ourselves as a living sacrifice. We become the light of the earth. The Holy Spirit renews our mind, our ways of thinking, we become more Christ like, evident by our actions, our words. No longer conformed to the things of this earth but transformed through the renewing of our mind.

There are nine Gifts of The Holy Spirit, He gives to each of us at His will, empowering us, yet supernaturally governed by Him the Holy Spirit through our obedience ensuring that God gets the glory because without Him we can do nothing on our own. It is only through God’s might, power and Spirit that enables us to defeat Satan and his agents.

However, we must do our part, we must know, understand and exercise God’s conditions. We start with repenting of our sins, seeking forgiveness, a daily process, because Satan does not give up, the devil is constantly seeking means as the accuser to gain legal claims against us; hence, we must be watchmen, at the gates, wearing the armor of God, speaking openly His Word, in prayer, every single day.

God knows what we need before we ask, He is omnipresent via the Holy Spirit who dwells within all believers, but we cannot quench the fire of the Holy Spirit. In short, by our actions we must ensure that we are glorifying God our Heavenly Father and not Satan and not our selfish desires. Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness.
